Lived in Wakefield for years

TEWKSBURY — Rosanne “Lovey” Brawley, 81, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wakefield, passed away Aug. 10 after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Charles Richard Brawley with whom she had shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Florence (Cummings) Pascarelli.
Lovey was a graduate of Malden High School. Following high school, she worked in numerous roles within the food service industry.
She and her husband, Dick, were longtime residents of Wakefield. Lovey was a devoted caretaker for her family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends at their Spaulding Street residence. Her most cherished times were the days spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored.
She also enjoyed traveling to Cabo San Lucas and boating and fishing in the New England area. In the final chapter of her life, she was blessed to spend time with many dear friends from The Villa at Meadow View where she resided.
She was the mother of Joseph Brawley and his wife Sharon of Tewksbury, Steven Brawley of Malden, Dawn Angelo and her husband Steve of Methuen and Richard Brawley of Malden. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Stevie, Kelly, Stephanie, Bobby, Mike and Rick. She was the loving sister of Ann Burgess, Claire Masterson, Mary Poirier, Jean Bossi, Sonny Pascarelli and Florence Celata.
A memorial service will the held on Saturday, August 27, at 10 a.m. in St. William Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury.
