Pagliarulo-obit-webMELROSE — Rose A. (Bramante) Pagliarulo, 85, of Melrose died peacefully at Oosterman’s Rest Home on May 29.

Rose was born August 12, 1931 to the late Frank and Maria Bramante, she was raised in the West End of Boston and graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. She was employed at John Hancock where she worked for over a decade before starting her family.

Rose was a homemaker who loved to sing and cook (sometimes at the same time). In her younger years she enjoyed the occasional night out dancing with her husband. She was a Melrose resident for over 50 years.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Pagliarulo Sr. She was the devoted mother of Maria Winslow of Melrose, Joseph T. Pagliarulo Jr. and his wife Robin of Rowley, Carolann Connolly and her husband Mark of Reading and Gina Pagliarulo of Melrose. She was the caring grandmother of Megan Winslow, Nicolas Pagliarulo and Ryan Connolly. She was the loving sister of Domenica Sicari and her husband Joseph of Somerville, Concetta Mirisola and her late husband Thomas of Braintree and the late Mary Costanzo, James Bramante, Dominic Bramante and Salvatore Bramante. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, June 1, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home Friday morning at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10 a.m.

Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
