REVERE — Rose Weeks, 98, of Revere, formerly of Wakefield, died Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Hingham.
Born in Chelsea on July 21, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Matilda (Holmes) Jacobs.
Mrs. Weeks was a longtime Wakefield resident, having lived in the area for more than 50 years. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted her time to the care of her children. She had worked at the former Transitron Corp. before going on to work for Marshall’s corporate office in Woburn. Mrs. Weeks loved dogs and also enjoyed knitting and crochet. Most recently, she enjoyed being a resident at the Jack Satter House in Revere.
She was the beloved wife of the late Warren C. Weeks. She was the cherished mother of Robert D. Weeks and his wife Jamieson of Hingham and the late Michael C. Weeks. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Robert Jacobs.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
