LYNN — Ruth Marie (Landsburg) Massucco, 92, a lifelong resident of Lynn, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Rosewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Peabody.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna T. (Reynolds) Landsburg; the beloved wife of the late Arthur Massucco; the loving mother of Diane Esposito and her husband Anthony of New Durham, N.H., Joanne Noren and her husband Daniel of Wakefield and the late Judith Buccheri; mother-in-law of Paul Buccheri of Lynn; the cherished grandmother of Paul Buccheri and his wife Tracy of Lynn; Steven Buccheri and his wife Beverly of Rowley; Leanne Panacopoulos and her husband Ross of Lynn; Kristen Briggs and her husband Andrew of Lynn and James Noren and his wife, JinMi of New York. Also, the adored great-grandmother of Paul, Nicole, Colby, Jackson, Emma Anne, Alexander, Christopher, John, Zoey, Juliette and Jaime and the dear sister of the late William Landsburg. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Lynn with the Class of 1941 and had been a branch manager at the former Bank of New England and Citizen’s Bank in Lynn for many years until her retirement.
She was a communicant of St. Pius V. and St. Mary Churches in Lynn. Ruth enjoyed traveling, especially to tropical destinations and also spending time with her family and friends at her summer home in Jackson, N.H.
Ruth’s funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Tuesday, March 29 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 8 South Common St., Lynn. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
