MELROSE — The city of Melrose has selected Sagamore Golf, Inc. to manage and operate the Mount Hood Memorial Park and Golf Course (MHMPGC).
The management contract will run for a period of five-years, from Jan. 1, 2023 through 2027.
“MHMPGC is filled with charm, character, and heritage, and is considered a very special place by the Melrose community, and the many North Shore golfers who favor Mount Hood as their ‘home course,’” said Sagamore Golf President Richard Luff. “Sagamore is incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity in front of us and is excited to offer New England golfers another great golf experience in the heart of Massachusetts’ North Shore.”
Sagamore Golf, Inc. has been a family owned and operated golf business since 1929. Sagamore owns three very popular public golf destinations, all located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
