NORTH READING — The North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society’s Apple Festival returns to the Putnam House grounds, 27 Bow St., on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain date Sept. 20).

The 21st annual event includes an apple pie contest, an art raffle, a silent art auction, artisans and crafters, town souvenirs, children’s games, pony rides, food and drinks, entertainment and tours of North Reading’s historic buildings.

You can also check out the Farm Museum that has been improved since last year’s Apple Festival.

The annual Apple Festival is family fun for all and is North Reading’s unique way of welcoming in the fall season.
