MELROSE — In celebration of Assisted Living Week, The Residence from Melrose Station cheered on the Melrose High field hockey team on Wednesday, September 11.

Bringing seniors and the younger generations together to celebrate all they have in common is a big part of Assisted Living Week, which was September 8 to 14.

“Our residents had so much fun cheering on the girls team and were surprised by how appreciative the entire team was to see them on the sideline” said Melrose Station Executive Director Bobbi Miller.

“Seeing the smiles and great energy from the Melrose team was such a treat for all of us. This town has such a great sense of community and it’s great to see their team spirt,” said one Melrose Station resident.

The Residence at Melrose Station has been serving seniors in the area since 2017 offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.
