WILMINGTON — Shirley A. (Burbine) Muse, 79, died at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home on Friday, Oct. 17.

Born in Wakefield on March 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Doucette) Burbine.

Mrs. Muse was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. Before moving to New Hampshire in 2005, Shirley had lived in Wilmington where she had worked for D.R.C. of Wilmington.

Mrs. Muse was the beloved wife of Richard J. Muse and the late Eugene Campbell. She was the mother of Richard J. Muse Jr. and his wife Arlene of Wilmington, Rob M. Muse and his wife Beth of Weare, N.H. and Terry A. Winters and her companion John Riendeau of New Boston, N.H. and the late Elaine Campbell. She was the sister of Richard Burbine of Idaho and the late Thomas, Kenneth and John Burbine and Lorraine Muise. She was the grandmother of Richard J. Muse III, Kelly Haughton and Nikki Winters. She was the great-grandmother of Katelyn and Cora.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
