WAKEFIELD — The town’s impressive Independence Day celebration would not be possible without the generosity of many people and organizations.

The West Side Social Club has played a critical part in Wakefield’s Fourth of July festivities for decades, and the club counts on that generosity to keep our traditions alive. Members work extremely hard to make sure kids, their parents and others have a fun-filled holiday. The West Side puts on all the morning children’s events and early afternoon races, an early evening concert and a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Quannapowitt once the sun goes down.

The club can’t fund all these things itself. Following are those who have helped out the West Side again in 2019.
