NORTH READING — The Friends of Hornet Productions is excited to announce the Haunted Hornet Halloween (formerly Martins Pond Association’s Haunted Playground). The Haunted Hornet Halloween is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 (Rain date: Oct. 22) from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at a brand new location – the front lawn of the Batchelder school right in the center of town. This is a family-friendly event which will feature a Haunted Tour ($5/person, 3 and under free), a Game Tent ($5/child to play 5 games), two Magic Shows featuring Jim Loscutoff, a Dance Party featuring Time of Your Life DJ, a supervised playground fun, scavenger hunt for all ages, delicious food for dinner and a tent full of sweet treats to enjoy. This is a cash only event.

Parking will be available at both the lot by the football field and at the high school. Shuttle buses will be provided to bring you down the hill to the all the fun.

Friends of Hornet Productions is a 501(c)(3) parent–run group dedicated to supporting all the arts programs at the North Reading Middle School, including the art clubs, band, chorus, video, drama and tech clubs. The group will be featuring some of its amazing actors in the family friendly skits on the Haunted Tours. For younger visitors, the haunted tour will take a walk through the adorable Pumpkin Patch. Costumes are welcome, and they will add to the spooky spirit! Capture the memories of the evening with a great photo of the evening in the Halloween Photo Booth sponsored by Through My Lenz photography. There will be something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
