Owned automotive service station; avid stock market investor

LYNNFIELD — Stewart Bernstein, 71, of Lynnfield, beloved husband of Theresa (Sanchirico) Bernstein and beloved father to Matthew Lewis Bernstein, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2015 at his home following a year-long struggle with cancer.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1943, he was the son of the late Lewis and Laura (Balch) Bernstein. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn and was a graduate of the William Grady Technical School with a concentration in automotive repair.

He had a deep passion for 1950s style music and enjoyed watching old movies. He was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed.
