MARSTONS MILLS — Sue Chrisfield Gibbs, 89, of Marstons Mills passed away on Wednesday, April 22.
Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of Edward R. and Lucy (Braxton) Chrisfield.
She is survived by her brother Edward R. Jr. of Cambridge, and her sister Barbara Gourdin of Marstons Mills.
The third of six children, Sue was predeceased by her three brothers, Curtis, George and Harold.
She was the loving aunt of Kim Douglas of Falmouth, Paul Douglas of Lancaster, Robert Douglas of Centerville and the late Dale Douglas (Julie) of Stoneham, Timothie Briggs of Ipswich, Mihaly Briggs of London, England, Carla Weiss of Cambridge and Dana Chrisfield of New York.
A graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1944, Sue worked for many years with the Family Services Association of Boston, then retiring as office manager for Elder Services.
The funeral services will be private.
