Loving mother and grandmother loved the arts
LYNNFIELD — Suzanne Stanton Winn of Lynnfield died on April 21, 2023.
Suzanne was a lover of the arts. She loved music, classical and jazz in particular, and theater. She was an avid reader and critic of the news, a staunch lifelong Democrat and a stickler for good manners and proper grammar. She loved a good party and could generally be counted on to be the last to leave. Although a great cook herself, she enjoyed eating anything that someone else prepared and enjoyed drinking pretty much anything someone else was pouring. She was an admitted Francophile who once led a group of Parisians in a rousing rendition of the French national anthem at a bistro in Paris.
Suzanne was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Henry. She leaves behind six adult children: Daniel, Matthew, Alice, Sheila, Jennifer and Kate. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive her.
The family would like to thank her long-time caregiver Susan Williams for her kindness and dedication to their mom.
A celebration of her life will be held in Maine this summer.
