WAKEFIELD — Thelma MacKinnon Singleton, who lived on Pearl Street in Wakefield for more than 68 years, passed away on November 19. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 1/2 years, William T. Singleton, on December 26, 2002, and by her brother Warren MacKinnon.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Schermerhorn (Richard) of Denver, CO, and Sharon (Susan Farrell) of Watertown; a son William (the late Kathy Gross) of Wakefield; her brother Garfield MacKinnon (Hilda) of Norwood, MA; sisters, Doris Williams and Phyllis MacDonald of Prince Edward Island, Canada; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family would like to invite friends and family to a memorial service and celebration of Thelma’s life on Saturday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant St., Wakefield.
