NORTH READING — The North Reading High School Hockey Boosters held their annual street hockey tournament on Aug. 13 and 14. The event was a huge success for the third year in a row. This is a wonderful event for the program as well as the community. This year the tournament was a two day event full of nail–biting games and lots of excitement.

Day one consisted of 48 players from grades 8 through 12, while day two was a chance for alumni to return and see if they still “got what it takes”! There were 52 players on day two. On behalf of the Hockey Boosters, the organizers would like to thank all of the sponsors for their generosity and helping to make this such a great weekend. A big thank you to: Steve Doran and Attention to Detail Home Restoration., Inc., A&K Fowler Ins., Co., China Cuisine, TODtitle (Todd Day), Play it Again Sports, North Reading Subaru, Xcelerated Performance, The Great American Tavern, Mike’s Famous, Reading Cooperative Bank, Basement Barbers and Colonial Nissan of Medford.
