BEVERLY — Thomas F. Duggan, Jr., 88, died on Monday, October 7 in Beverly.

Born in Malden on Dec. 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Eugenia (Ambrozik) Duggan.

Mr. Duggan was a retired officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, an honorably discharged captain in the U.S. Army Infantry, a past commodore of the Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly, Massachusetts and a founder of the Westknoll Wildlife Conservation Trust in Maine and Arizona.

He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra Frances (Studley) Duggan. He is survived by his children Debra M. Duggan of Lynnfield; John F. Duggan and his wife Krisi of Harpswell, Maine; Scott F. Duggan and his wife Joanne of Lynnfield; and Mark G. Duggan and his wife Jacquelyn Pless of Stanford, California. Tom is also survived by his grandchildren: Kelsey; Sean and his wife Shannon; Connor; Paul; and Lena; and his great-grandson Seamus. He also leaves behind his brother John L. Duggan of Beverly; Tom’s partner Mary Brandt; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother David D. Duggan.

Visitation for relatives and friends was held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services were private.
