WAKEFIELD — Tickets are now on sale for the ninth annual Blossoms at the Beebe to benefit the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce. The adult-only event will be held on Saturday evening, April 30, at the Library, 345 Main St., Wakefield from 7 to 11 p.m. Proceeds support Library services, cultural events and the many Chamber projects that enhance the civic and economic life of the communities.

This year’s event will feature a Caribbean Nights theme and will include a flower show showcasing the talents of professional florists; music by the steel drum band Pan Loco, who will play both inside and outside the Library; dance music by The Groove in the lobby; listening music in the lower level; gourmet hors d’oeuvres; a silent auction; a cash bar also featuring a signature drink which reflects the evening’s theme, and a casino room with games of Roulette, Black Jack and Caribbean Stud Poker.

Local comedian Paul D’Angelo will be the VIP for the event. Paul will sell and sign copies of his new book, “More Stories to Tell.”

This adult-only, 21 years-of-age and over event is always a sell-out, according to Blossoms at the Beebe Chair Susan Wetmore. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Beebe Library Reference Desk or online at www.blossomatthebeebe.com for $35 per person. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door on April 30 for $40 per person.

Additional information, including auction items will be provided on the website as the event date approaches.
