NORTH READING — On Wednesday, June 3, the O’Leary Senior Center will start offering transportation for shopping to Market Basket and other stores at the Wilmington Plaza Shopping Center. This service will continue on the first and third Wednesday of every month.
The van will start picking up shoppers at 8:30 a.m. (those who wish to park at the Center and take the van must be at the Center by 8:15 a.m.). Shoppers are restricted to six shopping bags and reusable bags are encouraged. The van will return to pick up customers at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Call the Senior Center at 978–664–5600 by Monday of that week to reserve a seat (seating is limited and reservations will be made on a first call basis).
