Enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint

WAKEFIELD — Agnes C. LeFave, age 78 of Wakefield passed away at the Winchester Hospital on October 4.

She was born in Winchester on April 7, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Agnes M. (LeBlanc) LeFave. She was the cherished sister of Joseph G. LeFave and his partner Mary Dorman of Medford and Elizabeth “Betty” Dougwillo and her husband John of Wakefield. She was the aunt of Suzanne Sardina and her husband Jason; Michelle Williams and her husband Robert; Michael Dougwilllo and his partner Ulli Eisermann; Keith Dougwillo and his wife Heather; and Kevin Dougwillo and his husband Stephen Benevento. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her sister-in-law Catherine LeFave. 

A gifted artist, Agnes found joy in crocheting and needlepoint, showcasing her creativity and skill in her handiwork. She was known for her sociable nature and actively participated in community activities, particularly with EMARK through the Hiya Club. Agnes also cherished her time at the Dutton Center in Wakefield, where she made lasting connections and enjoyed the various social outings.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday, October 9 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
