DERRY, NH — Marianne Gillette, 77 of Derry, NH, formerly of Wakefield, MA died Tuesday, September 26, at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH.

Marianne was a longtime resident of Wakefield and spent many enjoyable winters in FL. She even lived in Puerto Rico for three years when her children were young. She had fond memories of camping in Oxbow, NH with her family. She loved entertaining, cooking, children, music, dancing, decorating and was always very complimentary to others. She put everyone’s feelings and needs ahead of hers. Marianne loved spending time at Lake Massabesic under a shady tree. She enjoyed Italian food and a nice bowl of ice cream. She was most proud of being a mother of her two kids.
Marianne was the beloved mother of Kristen Gibson and her husband Steven of Derry, NH; and Brian Lawnicki and his wife Kimberly of Marshfield, MA. She was the sister of the late Gail Roberts; Carolyn Nordstrom; and Sue O’Brien.
