Trudy worked many jobs, including in the Melrose School System as a head lunch mother at the Roosevelt School where her five boys attended; one year she had all five boys in the same school from grades K-6.

What she loved the most was the loving way she cared and raised her boys – much more than a full time job! She attending countless baseball games, hockey games, track meets, cross-country meets, music concerts, drum and bugle events, to name a few. She was loving it all and tirelessly cheering us all on!

After her job of raising the five boys was complete, her most joyful job came…caring and spending time with her 14 grandkids, or should I say…spoiling the grandkids. She had so much love for these kids. She would frequently take them away for a week at her cape house, take them out for ice cream, mini-golf, bowling, the beach, play cards, games, and just love every minute of it! Her family was the job and life she truly treasured!
