Loved walking around Lake Q with her dogs

WAKEFIELD — Marjorie A. Rapallo, 83, of Wakefield and formerly of Medford died January 8 in Melrose.

She was born July 19,1938 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Carter) Deschamps.

She was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. She was a retired clerk from the former Provident Bank of Boston and had been a Wakefield resident since 1995. She loved walking around Lake Quannapowitt with her dogs and enjoyed spinning, yoga and kayaking in Maine.

Mrs. Rapallo was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Rapallo. She was the loving mother of Karen Rapallo of Wakefield and Gale Rapallo. She was the sister of the late Janice Solimine, William Deschamps and Albert “Buddy” Deschamps. She is also survived by her son in law Timothy Mathern of CA.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Avenue Wakefield on Saturday, January 15 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Service beginning at 10.
