Lifelong resident of Wakefield
WAKEFIELD — Thomas J. Robbins, of Wakefield, 60, passed away on November 13 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital after a period of failing health. He was born on January 30, 1962.
Thomas was the loving son of Ronald J. and Mary (Powers) Robbins of Wakefield. He was survived by his sister, Susan Meuse and her husband Douglas of Freedom, NH, and his brother, Kevin Robbins and his wife, Catherine of Wakefield. Also survived by his nieces Laura Goodrich and her husband Deryk of Wakefield, Lisa Medellin and her husband Christian of Wakefield, Diana Robbins of North Providence, RI, his nephew Michael Robbins and his fiancé Jackie, of Denver, CO, and his great-nephew, Maxwell.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Wakefield, growing up in Greenwood, and graduating from Wakefield Memorial High School. He enjoyed spending time in New Hampshire on annual family vacations when he was young and visiting his parents and late Aunt Betsy in New Hampshire when he got older.
Thomas also enjoyed when his whole family was together and watching his nieces and nephew growing up. He will be truly missed.
A private service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home and interment at Forest Glade Cemetery.
