WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Community Partnership announces the return of the Holiday Stroll, along with a Toy Drive to benefit the Boys & Girls Club. Events are scheduled on Saturday, December 3 from 2 to 6 p.m.

With the support of The Savings Bank, Wakefield Cooperative Bank, Rockland Trust, Alano’s and The Arts Collaborative of Wakefield, Wakefield is ready to kick off the holiday season.

Strollers will be met with the sounds of the season. Plan to see Dr. Caroline Lieber and students performing at the Arts Collaborative at 9 Albion St. (Toy Drive Box location) from 2 to 6. The Arts Collaborative will hold their Annual Winter Artisan Sale on Dec. 2 from 5-8 p.m. and on Dec. 3 from 1-6 p.m.

Catch the Funk, Dance Track & Dance Studio will be performing at the Americal Civic center from 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Drop by the Savings Bank (Toy Box location) to hear Audie Bridges performing from 2:30-4:00 p.m. and Valerie Giglio from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Stop at The Cooperative Bank (Toy Box location) to hear the Memory Laners perform from 2:30-4:00 p.m. The Amy O’Donoghue Duo from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Alano’s (Toy Box location) – Face Painter, Ione Andrade 2:30- 5:30 p.m., and the Boy Scouts Troop 701, is excited to be back at the Holiday Stroll. We will be selling our beautifully decorated 12” wreaths. The price is $18 for a decorated or $15 for an undecorated wreath.

hop for beautiful handmade items, jewelry, baked goods, raffles galore.

• Dec. 3rd at 5:00 p.m. First Parish Congregational Church will be having their Live Nativity performance the same night as the Holiday Stroll.  Includes performance of the Nativity with some of our youngest church members (i.e. some children), live animals, and singing traditional Christmas carols at the Gazebo by the lake

The Holiday Stroll is a great way to support local small businesses, as well as local artists and artisans.
