VENICE, FL — Brenda (Gregory) Mills of Venice FL, formerly of Wakefield, passed away on January 15, 2020 at the age of 76 after a long illness.

Brenda was born June 30, 1943 in Melrose to the late Edward and Laura (Antonioli). She was the beloved wife of 33 years to John Mills Jr. of Venice FL, and formerly of Wakefield. Devoted mother of Rick Hemeon of Reading, and Donna Mosher and her husband Doug of North Reading. Dear sister of Bruce Gregory and June (Patch) of South Carolina. Cherished grandmother of Samantha Farrington and her husband Joel of Danvers, Jenelle Mosher and her boyfriend William Morrissey of Revere, Kasey Hemeon of Reading, and Andrea Hemeon of Reading. Adored great grandmother of Makenzie and Connor Farrington, and one baby boy on the way. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

Brenda worked as a traffic supervisor for the town of Wakefield and later spent many years employed at American Mutual, where she met her husband John. Throughout their marriage they enjoyed traveling the world, and they were especially fond of going on cruises. Their favorite destinations were China, Southeast Asia and Alaska. While residing in Florida she worked for Publix and in her down time she relaxed by walking her dog on the beach and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Brenda was very loved and will be sorely missed.
