Avid comic book collector

WILMINGTON — Mark D. Dalton, 53, of Wilmington, formerly of Wakefield died on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Mark was born in Melrose on January 20, 1967 and was the son of Joan (Castagnino) Dalton of Woburn and the late Richard Dalton.

Mark was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Class of 1986. He was an avid comic book collector and enjoyed anything sci-fi, especially Star Trek Next Generation of which he was a collector. He worked for Stop-and-Shop as a clerk for many years.

In addition to his mother, Mark was the beloved husband of Carrie (Prentiss) Dalton. He was the brother of Jack Dalton of Haverhill, Michael Dalton and his wife Robin of Pepperell, Susan Bollinger and her husband Mark of Schertz, Texas, David Dalton and his wife Dee of Wakefield, and his twin brother Matthew Dalton and his wife Yuxia of Attleboro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, there were no services.
