WAKEFIELD — Philip Eugene Gates, 73, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Jeffrey and Susan Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody.
Philip was born on July 20, 1947 and was the beloved son of the late Harold B. and Ella B. (Tyler) Gates. He was a 1970 graduate of New Hampshire College of Accounting and Commerce. His late aunt, Myrtle Tyler was a constant source of strength and support. He was predeceased by his brother Norman and sister Deanna. He was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Ken Jeffrey of Ottawa, Ontario.
Funeral services will be private. There will be no visitation. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. Arrangements in the care of McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
