WAKEFIELD — North Star Realtors is proud to announce Laurie Hunt as their agent of the year for 2017 in both sales volume and transactions. Laurie has been a full-time professional realtor for more than six years, serving both Wakefield and the surrounding communities, though she’s particularly expert and active in Wakefield.

She’s a longtime resident whose obvious love for her community comes across in all aspects of her work. Broker-Owner Angie Sciarappa said, “2017 was North Star Realtors first full calendar year in business, and Laurie Hunt put us on the map in Wakefield.  She’s always a top-producing agent, and this year she was ranked #3 out of over 300 agents in Wakefield. That’s wildly impressive when the only two ahead of her are longtime broker-owners who have twice her experience.”

Laurie has always been an active member of the community, having chaired the Greenwood School’s PTO when her children were younger. She currently serves as a Director of the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce, is a Corporator at The Savings Bank, is the Secretary of the Parish Council at Most Blessed Sacrament, and sits on the advisory board of the Horizon House.

Sciarappa noted, “not only is Laurie an excellent realtor, she also possesses what any broker-owner cares most about and that’s professionalism, honesty and empathy for the client. She absolutely always puts her client’s best interests first, which is easy for her as that’s just who she is, and her clients reward her with their referrals as they know everyone they refer is treated with equal care. In addition to all that, she’s an incredible office-mate who is unbelievably generous in both time and expertise to the other agents in the office. You can tell I’m a big fan, but she’s a genuine person who is the same fine soul in every aspect of her life, and we’re proud she’s with North Star Realtors.”
