WAKEFIELD — A 34-year-old Chelsea man was arrested yesterday morning on an assault with intent to murder charge following a stabbing at a workplace on Audubon Road.

A man identified in the arrest report as Blas Antonio Celaya-Padilla was taken into custody after a chase through a marshy area of Reedy Meadow. The victim was treated by emergency medical personnel from the Wakefield Fire Department and Cataldo Ambulance and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. According to reports, he sustained three stab wounds, none of which appeared to be life threatening.
