Three Warriors named softball All-Stars

WAKEFIELD — The Middlesex League’s softball coaches met recently to make this year’s All-Star selections in both the Freedom and Liberty divisions. 

The Wakefield Memorial High School softball team had three All-Stars selected: senior captains Nicole Catino (catcher), Meagan Gibbons (second base) and Vanessa Kaddaras (third base).

Burlington and Wilmington tied for first in the Freedom Division with four selections each. Wakefield and Melrose each had three selections and Stoneham had one All-Star representative. 

MEAGAN GIBBONS

In the Liberty Division, Arlington, Lexington and Woburn each tied for first with four selections, while Reading checked in with three.
