WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Basketball Association (WBA) will tip off its 27th year of basketball for boys and girls grades one through eight. Space is limited and registration is first come first served.

The registration fees are $100 per player in grades 1-6 and $90 for seventh and eighth grade players. The maximum registration fee is $275 per family.

Walk in registration will take place on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center.

Anyone registering after Sept. 30 will be charged a $10 late fee.

The season will run from Nov. 7 through Jan. 24, 2016 followed by playoffs and the annual awards banquet on March 6, 2016.

The first and second grade divisions will have one 90 minute game/practice each weekend during the season. The third and fourth grade divisions will have one hour of practice each week and one game on weekends plus playoffs. The fifth and sixth grade divisions will have one hour of practice each week and one game on weekends plus playoffs. The seventh and eighth grade divisions will have no practice and one game on weekends plus playoffs.
