William-Lee-Obit-webNORTH READING — William G. “Bill” Lee – Vietnam Veteran, age 69, of North Reading and formerly of Belmont, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

Born in Waltham on Oct. 9, 1946, he was the son of the late John P. and Katherine E. (Schultz) Lee. He is survived by his loving sister Katherine E. Tremblay and her husband Stephen of Summerfield, Fla. and the loving nephews Jonathan P. Lee of Norman, Okla. and Jameson H. Lee of Cary, N.C. He was the brother of the late John P. Lee Jr.

Billy was raised in Belmont and was active in St. Joseph Church as an altar boy and a member of the children’s choir. He was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1965 and attended Burdett College in Boston. Bill joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1966 and served in Vietnam. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years and retired in 2013. He was an avid New England Patriots fan

He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He will be missed by his many acquaintances and friends. His sister will dearly miss him and fondly remember his humor, his loyalty and his big heart. Rest in Peace, Billy.
