MALDEN — William C. “Billy” Cotter III of Malden, formerly of North Reading, lost his battle to cancer at home around his beloved family on Wednesday, Dec. 10. He was the beloved father of Lynn Hallberg and her husband Michael of West Peabody and William C. Cotter IV of North Reading. He was also the brother of Attorney Raymond A. Snow of Somerville and Florida and the late Donald B. Snow and the cherished grandfather of Taylor, Ashley, Shaina Correggio and Jade Cotter. Services were held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Monday, Dec. 15 followed by a funeral home service on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
