Alejunasobit-webWAKEFIELD — William Jay “Billy” Alejunas, 28, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away unexpectedly on March 6. Billy was proud to have graduated from the Link House in Newburyport where he had been doing very well. Unfortunately, he lost his long battle with drug addiction after fighting so hard to beat it.

Billy was the cherished son of Vyto and Christine (Jay) Alejunas. He was the beloved “Dad” of Nicholas Alejunas and the dear brother of Michael Alejunas.  Billy was also very special to Connie and Frank Pustorino and he is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Sunday, March 12, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Route 28), Stoneham. A time of sharing will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m.
