WAKEFIELD — The Middlesex League’s girls’ lacrosse coaches met recently to make this year’s All-Star selections in both the Freedom and Liberty divisions.

The Wakefield Memorial High School girls’ lacrosse team had three All-Stars selected. Senior captain Meg Foley and junior Brooke Lilley were named First Team All-Stars while junior Laura Keegan was named an honorable mention All-Star for the Warriors who finished 4th in the Freedom with a 2-3 divisional record.

First-place Melrose and second-place Watertown each had seven All-Stars selected to lead the Freedom Division. Burlington had five and Stoneham had four.

In the Liberty Division, first-place Woburn led the balloting with eight All-Stars. Lexington, Reading and Winchester all tied for second place this year. Winchester had seven All-Stars while Reading had six and Lexington had five. Arlington had four selections while Belmont had two.
