WAKEFIELD — A Revere woman will be summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation after police stopped the white Nissan she was driving on Green Street at around noon on Friday.

Officer Brett Rossicone observed the Nissan traveling on Oak Street and then turn onto Green Street. He stopped the car after observing it cross the yellow line several times and determined that the 40-year-old driver did not have a license.

A 19-year-old Wilmington man was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol after police received a complaint of a man in a green Dodge pickup truck drinking in a parking lot on Audubon Road at about 8 p.m. Sunday night. A resident of an apartment building told police that there had been an ongoing problem with occupants of this vehicle parking in the lot, drinking and leaving litter behind. Responding police found an open container of beer in the center console and more unopened beer behind the driver’s seat.

At about 5:45 a.m. Saturday, a Salem Street resident reported the theft of a Suzuki GSX-R60 motorcycle valued at $4,000 from his driveway during the overnight between Friday and Saturday.

Police and the Fire Department responded to a two-car crash at Water and Farm streets at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said that a gray 2012 Toyota RAV4 was heading west on Water Street. When the Toyota attempted to turn left onto Farm Street, police said, one of its rear wheels came off and struck the front end of a 2003 red Jeep Cherokee that was behind it. There were no reported injuries.

At about 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Police and the Fire Department responded to a crash with airbag deployment at Water and Vernon streets between a blue 2007 Toyota Yaris and a black 2011 Toyota. Police said that the 2011 Toyota was coming out of the Omelette Headquarters parking lot and hit the Yaris that was traveling east on Water Street. The occupants of both cars refused medical treatment. The driver of the 2011 Toyota was cited for failure to yield. Both cars had to be towed from the scene.

At about 5 p.m. on Sunday, Wakefield Police, Wakefield Fire, State Police and Action Ambulance responded to Route 128 northbound near Exit 39 after multiple callers reported a crash in the high-speed lane. One individual was taken by ambulance to the hospital with unspecified injuries and one vehicle was towed.

Police received a number of complaints throughout the weekend of the same man sleeping in different local bank ATMs. Police said that the man is known to them and in each case was sent on his way.

The Fire Department responded to 31 calls over the weekend, 23 of which were for medical aid.
