NORTH READING — Students at North Reading High School, both current students and post-graduates, were recently recognized for their volunteer service through the Corporation for National and Community Service.
According to Principal Anthony Loprete, the President’s Volunteer Service Award is earned by students who complete volunteer service in their community. Awards are given in bronze, silver and gold designations based on the number of hours the student performed volunteer service.
This year, 18 students from North Reading High School were recognized for their participatIon in this program, including 14 current students.
The current students achieving this honor are Grace Higgins, Kashvi Joshi, Liam Kirwin, Michael Mahoney, Michael Manupelli, Matthew Mulcahy, Sofia Naulivou, Alexa Pepper, Owen Phillips, Sucheta Srikanth, Addison Stetson, Aniya Taneja, Christian Villarroel and Jackson Wesley.
The Class of 2024 graduates who were recognized are Cassandra Fitts, Madison Vant, Maggie Schulz and Piper Kirwin.
