WAKEFIELD — Wakefield Public Schools, Wakefield Parent Partnership and Wake-Up Coalition will host the third annual Parent University on Saturday, March 19 from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Galvin Middle School. Wakefield Co-operative Bank is a major returning sponsor of the event.

Parent University provides free, expert resources to parents and caregivers and is open to residents and non-residents of Wakefield. Attendees will hear from esteemed keynote speaker Jack Agati on how birth order affects a child’s view of the world and how to identify and embrace the positive characteristics of each child. Parents and caregivers will then choose from over 20 workshops to attend covering curriculum, technology, social issues and more.

Parent University is open to residents of all cities and towns, not just Wakefield. For more information and to register, please visit https://sites.google.com/site/wpsparentuniversity/home.

Wakefield Academy is providing free child care for ages 3 and over. Space is limited and registration is required by Friday, March 11.
