WAKEFIELD — Carol A. (Henry) Cerullo, age 84 and long-time resident of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony Cerullo. Loving mother of Karen and her husband Paul Caruso of New Hampshire and grandmother of Ashley and her husband Michael Bracken. Daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Swangren) Field. She is also survived by her foster family the Brown’s, and her extended family the Cerullo’s.
Carol enjoyed cooking, music, crafts, and sewing. She enjoyed being part of the local community and sang with local and religious chorus groups. She volunteered in Wakefield Public Schools and worked as a home health aide.
Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, August 23 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 9 – 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carol’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
