LYNNFIELD — The Knights of Columbus is holding a Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 30, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Reedy Meadow Golf Course.
The tournament costs $50 per golfer, which includes nine holes and the use of a cart. Each golfer will receive a ticket for a drawing. The fundraiser’s proceeds will be used to support the KOC Council’s charitable works and charities.
Tee times will be assigned as reservations are made, and will start every 10 minutes after the previous foursome.
The Golf Tournament’s prizes include an umbrella to the player who has the lowest score. A dozen golf balls will be the prize for the golfer who is the closest to the pin on the third hole. The prize for the highest score will be a soft cooler filled with beer.
“Please remember to give your name and phone number when you register at Reedy Meadow,” said Knights of Columbus member Rich Mazzola in a press release.
Mazzola said townspeople are invited to play golf or buy a ticket for the drawing, and the tournament is not just open to Knights of Columbus members.
The drawing includes donations from the PGA Tour Superstore in Peabody. The drawing also includes a one-year membership to the Players Club, 210 Andover St., Peabody, which includes unlimited free sessions of practice golf bays and other discounts that are a $150 value.
The drawing also includes a Wilson Fairway 5-Wood and cover, which is a $99 value. Each golfer gets one free ticket for the drawing.
“All golfers and non golfers alike are encouraged to purchase a drawing ticket for $10 or three tickets for $20,” said Mazzola. “It’s a great gift for any golfer.”
