U.S. MARINE CORPS Color Guard presented the colors to open the town’s Veterans’ Day ceremony on the common.
NRHS JUNIOR Alivia Rowe sang the National Anthem while Rich Stratton, a Vietnam-era Marine veteran and emcee of the event, stands at attention in his Minit & Militia uniform.
PATRIOT GUARD members lined the top of the town common, each holding Old Glory throughout the hour-long ceremony.
THE MARCHING HORNETS provided patriotic music, including “Military Escort,” “American March Classics,” and “God Bless America.”

KRISTI STEPHENS gave a heartfelt speech entitled “Cost of war through the eyes of a child.”

THE NORTH READING Police Dept. Honor Guard presented the colors throughout the ceremony.
