Loved dogs, enjoyed music and was fascinated with thunderstorms
READING — Paul R. Haynes, age 56, of Reading passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 26. He was born in Stoneham and was the son of Claire E. (Smith) Haynes of Seabrook, NH and the late Phillip H. Haynes.
Paul was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1985. He worked for nearly 40 years as a master diesel engine mechanic at Power Products in Wakefield. In addition to his full-time job, Paul also worked as a tree trimmer for Woodmaster Tree Service in Wakefield. He loved dogs, especially his late dogs, Jake and Remy. Paul enjoyed music and going to concerts. He was fascinated with classic cars and thunderstorms.
In addition to his mother Claire, Paul is survived by his brother Jerry Haynes and his wife Kelly of Alton, NH; his sister Laura Pacheco and her husband Bruce of Merrimac; his half-sister Vanessa Miller and her husband Tim of Baltic, OH; and his half-brothers Jamie Haynes and his wife Annmarie of Nashua, NH and Philip Haynes of Center Conway, NH. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and countless friends.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A private interment at Forest Glade Cemetery will take place at a future date.
