RECENT NRHS graduate Jessica Simone was awarded the North Reading Republican Town Committee’s (NRRTC) $750 Scholarship with her heartfelt essay on “What the American Flag Means to Me.” Jessica read her essay during the award ceremony, which was held by the war memorial on the Town Common. She was also awarded official citations from the State Senate issued by State Senator Bruce Tarr and the State House of Representatives issued by Rep.
