MELROSE — The city will be providing an update on the public safety project on Wednesday, Sept. 25, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Melrose High School Learning Commons.

Residents are invited to join city officials, architects and members of the Mayor Mayor Jen Grigoraitis’ Public Safety Facilities Advisory Committee for a town hall-style meeting to provide updates about the upcoming police and fire station rebuilding and renovation projects approved by Melrose voters in 2023. The project update presentation will include siting information, design renderings and recommendations.

The meeting will be held at the Melrose High School Learning Commons, 360 Lynn Fells Parkway, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. It will also be aired on MMTV local access cable.

“All members of the community are welcome to attend to learn more about the plans and schedule to renovate the city’s three aging fire stations and build a new police station,” said Grigoraitis.
