Retired Revere Fire Department lieutenant

REVERE — Stephen A. Chamberlin of Revere passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Jan. 28.
Stephen was a retired lieutenant with the Revere Fire Department. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Gillis). He was the devoted father of Stacey Buonfiglio and her husband Paul; Stephen A. Chamberlin Jr. and his wife Angela; and Amy Chamberlin. He was the loving grandfather of Paul S. Buonfiglio and his wife Bianca; Alexandra Buonfiglio, Ava Buonfiglio and Nicholas Chamberlin.
He was also the great-grandfather of Roman Buonfiglio and the dear brother of Carla Zdanowicz and her husband Dan; Debbie Grandstaff and the late Henry Chamberlin. He was the brother-in-law of Eileen Gillis. He is also survived by his uncle Anthony Romano and many loving sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stephen’s funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio and Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere, took place on Monday, Feb. 1 as well as his Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church.
