LYNNFIELD — “Music for Molly” on Saturday, April 16 is shaping up to be the community-wide social event of the season.

Tickets are available at the door for concert to benefit Molly Malone, a 15-year-old sophomore at Lynnfield High School who had been battling Ewing sarcoma since January.

The concert is being held in the sanctuary of the Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St., which has donated the space for the event organized by LHS senior Katrina Gustafsan.

The concert features Molly’s favorite songs performed by Gustafson and her band as well as two high school a cappella groups, Sweet Treble of LHS and the Buccateers of Bedford H.S. as well as acoustic entertainment by Joe Ramage and a special guest appearance by the Keith Jacques Experience.

Admission is just $5 for adults and teens while children ages 12 and under will be admitted free. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with musical performances from 1 to 3 p.m.

The silent auction will be ongoing throughout the event, with silent auction winners announced at the conclusion of the concert. Raffle tickets will be available until 1:50 p.m. for the dozens of gift baskets donated by community members.

Serving as Master of Ceremony is Bob Priestley. The silent auction has grown to nine valuable items:

• A private portrait session and custom wall portrait by Lauri Priestley donated by The Priestley’s Fine Art Photography Studio of Lynnfield;

• 1 week condo at OceanEdge Resort in Brewster donated by the Justice Family;

• 2 tickets each for one complimentary round 18-holes at either Sagamore Spring Golf Club (Lynnfield, Mass or North Hampton, N.H.) donated by Sagamore;

• 4 Selena Gomez (The Revival Tour) tickets for Saturday, May 28, 2016 at TD Garden. (Balcony 302, row 4 seats 3,4,5,6) donated by magic 106.7;

• Pair of Red Sox tickets donated by the Scala family;

• Adirondack chair with sport team logo donated by Trish Murphy;

• Kayem Grill Kit and Kayem gift certificate donated by the Monkiewicz family;

• Vera Bradley Gift Basket $200 donated by the Geary family;

• $50 gift certificate to Flatbread Company, Bedford donated by Flatbread.

At 3 p.m., Jackie Bourque Tewksbury will speak briefly about the Reid R. Sacco Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Alliance, the organization created in memory of the LHS graduate which sponsors Reid’s Ride and Reid’s Run to support research directed at cancers that strike adolescents and young adults. And Ashley Mitchell, Molly’s best friend, will also offer a few words to the attendees.
