Grandmother, great–grandmother with local survivors

SALISBURY — Maria Stasio (Malfitano), of Salisbury, formerly of Revere, died on May 29. She was the beloved daughter of the late Domenic and Marianna (Misiano) and the loving wife of the late John. Maria was the cherished mother of Nancy Camley and her companion Mark Martin of Salisbury, John Stasio and his wife Donna of Haverhill, David Stasio of Chelsea and Michael Stasio and his wife Annmarie of North Reading. She was the dear sister of Tina Pisani and the late Pat of Revere, Rocco Malfitano and his wife Lorraine of Stoneham, Anthony Malfitano and his wife Sheila of Revere and the late Vito Malfitano. Maria is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great–grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere Street on Friday, June 3 at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish on Friday at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Thursday 4–8 p.m. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
