Generously made her home a haven for family, friends

O'Donnell-obit-webPEABODY — Patricia Violet (Hall) O’Donnell, 81, of Peabody, wintering in Sebastian, Florida, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017 with the full support of her loving family.

She was born to the late Norman and Bessie Hall on November 12, 1935 in Lynn, and was raised in Lynnfield. Pat graduated from Wakefield High School in the Class of 1953.

She married Robert G. O’Donnell on October 12, 1957, and they lived together in Peabody and raised a large family together.

Pat was a strong woman of faith who was devoted to making their home a haven not only for her family but for many friends, and all of their family members. Everyone knew there was an open door policy at their house in Peabody.

She ran her own Mary Kay business, traveled to Europe, Israel and Hawaii, plus she traveled all over the continental United States.

Pat had a beautiful, caring nature and loved all of her family and friends fiercely and loyally. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great aunt, sister, aunt and daughter.

She is survived by her husband, Robert G. O’Donnell, and her six children, Michael and Michelle O’Donnell of Haverhill, Robin and Tim Hough of Beverly, Lisa Blasi of Haverhill, Beth and David Morris of Madison, Maine, Chris O’Donnell of Denver, Colorado, and Kerrin and Sam Abromowitz of Newton, N.H.

She is survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, William and Lorna Hall, Norma (Hall) Kochalaris, and David and Martha Hall, all of Sebastian, Florida, and Harold and Sheila Hall of Lynnfield, as well as countless nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
