THE GATORS won the Spring 2017 Major League softball championship on June 18 with a perfect record of 14-0. The team, consisting of Melrose 5th and 6th grade girls, led by coaches Terry Tobin and Chris Sleeper, ended a great season on a high note. Keeping the momentum, many of the team members were selected for the traveling Summer U12 team. Pictured here, the Gators celebrate after the championship game.
