A gifted athlete who had a warm heart and giving nature
WAKEFIELD — Christopher William Sardella of Wakefield passed away on Saturday, September 18.
He was born in Melrose on November 6, 1965. And was the third son of the late Louis R. Sardella and Ann Marie Pratt Sardella.
From a young age, Chris was a gifted athlete. Throughout his boyhood and high school years, it was his love of sports that become a driving force in creating his strong competitive nature.
Chris was always a popular and friendly person, and he was always admired for his warm heart and giving nature.
Chris graduated from Wakefield Memorial High School in 1983 and was a three-sport varsity letterman.
Later in life, Chris met Linda Lane who stood by him for many years, both as a friend and as a partner. Chris enjoyed his many trips with Linda to the camp in Maine where they would swim, boat, or simply enjoy their surroundings on a lazy day. Linda, a retired nurse, was instrumental in helping Chris to navigate his medical journey, especially later in life when it became increasingly more difficult.
